Ruins on a snowy rock formation.

This photo was taken in Flossenbürg, Germany, a town where the Nazis established a large concentration camp and killed around 100,000 people. (More info: [link])

During this time, the ruins were a popular destination for SS soldiers on summer vacation. From there, they could overlook the "valley of death" with the camp and the quarry where the inmates worked themselves to death, under the slogan "work sets you free".

The shadows on the sides of the picture places the location in a dark, mysterious and sort of a hidden setting, which I like alot.
What you could have done is to remove the footprints in the snow and the metal stuff on the way up to the ruins, won't take far too long.
The location you've chosen is special because it looks "untouched" (why I want you to remove the footprints and metal, to fulfill this), and I feel like I've been there before (WHAAAAAT???), and of course, you have found exactly the right amount of ruins, not too much, but a little tower or something that you've located perfectly on the left side, so you get the effect of movement up fom the bottom of the picture and the walking up to the ruins. Not just a ruin taking the whole picture, but more of the environment it's in.
I love this picture, it got personality.
